Thunderheads MC was organized in October of 1981 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  The name came about because almost every time they would go for a ride thunderheads would develop and they would come in soaking wet.

Thunderheads MC is a support club of the Bandidos MC which was established in March of 1966.  Both clubs motto is Love, Loyalty, & Respect.   ​
